Hi! My name is Daniella and I'm the owner here at Resonate. I started this business back in 2020 after I experienced first hand how crystals and energy work can support us in manifesting our desires and aligning with our highest potential. My aim is to help you harness the energy within and manifest your desires with intention and belief.
My lifelong fascination with the mystical evolved into a clear understanding that there is a profound connection between our energy, our mindset and the life we bring into being. Why Soy Wax?
Environmentally friendly: Soy wax is derived from soybeans, a renewable resource. It is biodegradable and produces less soot and toxins than paraffin wax, making it a cleaner and healthier option.
Longer burn time: Soy wax candles typically burn slower and longer than paraffin wax candles, providing more value for your money.
Cleaner burn: Soy wax burns cleaner, producing less soot and smoke, which can improve indoor air quality.
Better scent throw: Soy wax is known for its better scent throw, meaning it releases fragrance more effectively than paraffin wax.
It's natural for soy candles to change colour over time but this won't affect its performance. Keep it away from direct sunlight or store it in a cool, dark place.
’Frosting’ and ‘sweating’ are common occurrences with soy wax candles but this doesn’t affect the candle's performance or quality.
Frosting appears as small white crystals similar to snowflakes on the candle's surface. It's purely cosmetic and doesn't impact the candle's smell or burn. Frosting is also a sign that the wax is 100% natural.
Oily residue (known as ‘sweating’) may appear on the surface of the candle and is usually caused by temperature changes. This is completely normal and you can lightly dab away the excess residue with tissue. This tends to happen most in summer and in warmer environments.
Soy wax can react to temperature changes so it's best to keep candles away from direct sunlight and temperature fluctuations.
