Candle Care
To prolong the life of your candle and ensure a safe burning experience, please follow these simple care guidelines:
- Burn your candle for at least 2 hours for the first time until the wax pool reaches the edge of the container. This prevents tunnelling and ensures even wax melting.
- Regularly trim the wick 1/4 inch above the wax before each burn to prevent soot, ensure a clean burn and avoid overheating.
- Don't burn your candle for more than three hours at a time to prevent the container overheating and glass breakage.
- NEVER leave a lit candle unattended! Keep out of reach from children and pets.
- If your candle contains large crystals or florals, remove them before lighting or within 10 minutes of burning to prevent uneven burning. Make sure no florals are close to the flame. You can wash the crystals in warm, soapy water.
- Stop burning the candle when there is about 1/2 an inch of wax left. Burning a candle below this level can cause the container to overheat and burn you or the surface it's on.
- Avoid touching or moving a lit candle as the glass can get hot.
All Resonate candles have a safety/warning label at the bottom of the container.
